The City of Ontario is located on the eastern border of Oregon along the Snake River.  It’s located midway between Salt Lake City and Portland and is the largest city in Malheur County. Ontario is also known as Oregon's Western Treasure Valley. The surrounding area is spacious with prime agricultural land. Ontario is also in close proximity to the Leslie Gulch-Succor Creek National Back Country Byway which has some of the most rugged and spectacular, scenic countryside in eastern Oregon. Only a short drive from Boise, Idaho’s capital city, Ontario residents can also enjoy the perks of city life.
