Riverside Health’s new medical campus in Smithfield sits on a beautifully-landscaped 27 acres at 19339 Benns Grant Boulevard in Smithfield. Plans for Riverside Smithfield Hospital involve construction of a three-story, approximately 200,000-square-foot facility, with identified future expansion zones.

Services offered:

  • Emergency department
  • Diagnostic imaging services, including CT and MRI

The hospital will feature:

  • 34 medical/surgical beds
  • 10 intensive care unit beds (ICU)
  • 4 operating rooms

The first floor features include a lobby/public area, cafe, chapel, community education and conference space, emergency department, outpatient diagnostic services and radiology.

The second- and third-floor features include inpatient and outpatient surgery departments, pre-/post-surgery areas, intensive-care unit and the medical/surgical unit.

New Medical Office Building on the new RSH Campus

Plans for the Jamison-Longford Medical Office Building (MOB) involve construction of a single-story, approximately 25,000-square-foot facility. Services include cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, neurology, orthopedic and sports medicine, urology and vascular specialists. The medical campus will employ over 200 team members, with recruitment beginning in early 2025.
