Reston Hospital Center is a 187-bed acute care hospital that serves the Northern Virginia region and has been recognized by The Joint Commission as one of the Top Performers on Key Quality Measures™. It has private labor and birthing rooms, designated operating rooms for Cesarean sections, and maternity rooms. The hospital is home to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Reston is located in Fairfax County. It was founded in 1964 as the state's first planned community and is home to more than 58,000 residents. In 2012, CNN Money Magazine named it one of the Best Places to Live in America. Reston is just 18 miles from Washington, D.C., and has convenient access to Washington Dulles International Airport and the Capital Beltway.
