Princeton Medical Center is located in the central New Jersey town of Plainsboro, a short distance from downtown Princeton, New Jersey. The town of Princeton is roughly equidistant to Philadelphia and New York City and close to many major highways that serve these cities (e.g. Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1). It is a cosmopolitan town, known for its architectural and natural beauty, of approximately 30,000 residents.
Situated alongside tree-lined streets, downtown Princeton is the home of Princeton University, specialty shops, restaurants and parks. Princeton and the University are accessible by many means of transportation, including Amtrak and NJ Transit, and has its own NJ Transit train station. There are also many big businesses and institutions in the surrounding area including Pharma, Rutgers and NYC. Central Jersey is a very family friendly area and nice place to settle down.
