Pekin Hospital - UnityPoint Health

UnityPoint Health - Pekin was founded in 1913, chartered by a group of citizens lead by F.C. Gale, J.E. Russell, Walter Teis Smith, A.L. Koeneke and W.R. Curran. The first permanent building opened on 14th Street in Pekin with only 20 beds - Land donated by the Erhlicher Brothers & wives.   

In 2017, Pekin Hospital affiliated with UnityPoint Health Systems and became UnityPoint Health - Pekin.

UPH Pekin is a 107-bed hospital with multiple specialty offices on campus providing care to the community. UnityPoint Health is commitment to quality has resulted in numerous awards and national recognition for excellence, including:
