Park Med Urgent Care - Oak Ridge

Located just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, Oak Ridge is diverse in culture and varied in landscape. Often called the Secret City because of its history of being secretly founded in 1942 as a top secret research location for the creation of specifically to research and help create the atomic bombs used in World War II, Oak Ridge is today one of the greatest research centers of the world. It is said that because of the high education levels of its first residents, Oak Ridge had a symphony before it had sidewalks. The American Museum of Science and Energy lets visitors discover first hand why Oak Ridge was built and learn about the technologies it has produced. For recreation, there are 16 local parks strategically located within one-half mile of each residential area, and the Clinch River that borders Oak Ridge is great for boating and fishing.
