MountainView Regional Medical Center, a 168-bed, level III trauma facility located in Las Cruces, N.M., is accredited by The Joint Commission. The facility includes fully staffed 24-hour emergency care, including both an accredited Chest Pain Center and accredited Stroke Center. The hospital includes a specialized Heart and Vascular Center; an accredited Joint Replacement Center; a “Baby-Friendly” designated labor and delivery unit; NICU; and a 23-bed, comprehensive intensive care unit. The hospital’s inpatient and outpatient services include an Outpatient Surgery Center with minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery services; rehabilitation services; sleep medicine and an accredited Sleep Center, Women’s Imaging Center, a freestanding Emergency Department (FSED), three Urgent Care Centers, 10 Primary Care Clinics, and 13 Specialty Care Clinics. MountainView has more than 1,200 employees and 223 physicians on staff representing more than 50 medical specialties. It is a statewide transfer regional facility offering the highest level of services within the southwest region of New Mexico.
