Moberly Regional Medical Center is a 120-bed JCAHO accredited facility serving a population of 50,000 in north central Missouri. A full service, acute care hospital, MRMC operates a Level III Trauma Center with physicians on duty 24 hours a day. The medical center offers, in conjunction with its medical staff, inpatient and outpatient services in the areas of critical care; diagnostic imaging including CAT scan, MRI, nuclear medicine and ultrasound; inpatient and same-day surgery; physical therapy; maternal & child health; as well as skilled nursing care and round-the-clock laboratory services. Specialties represented on the medical staff include family and general practice, internal medicine, cardiology, pediatrics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, urology and orthopaedics. The Professional Arts Building - a medical office space facility - is located adjacent to MRMC. 
The Community
With a population of approximately 13,000, Moberly is located in the heart of north central Missouri nearly midway between Kansas City and St. Louis. The town has a growing industrial base; Orscheln Brothers Company being the largest industry, employing more than 1,200 in Moberly and surrounding communities. ORBCO is the inventor and manufacturer of over-the-center brake levers commonly found in many of today's automobiles. Moberly was founded as a railroad community and continues to be home to nearly 400 Norfolk Southern Railway employees. Interstate 70 is located just 36 miles south, as well as commuter flights connecting to most major airports.
