Lawrence General Hospital

Located in Essex County, Massachusetts, Lawrence is a city of more than 75,000 residents. Surrounding communities include Methuen to the north, Andover to the southwest, and North Andover to the southeast. Lawrence is also part of the Merrimack Valley and shares the honor of being the county seat of Essex County with the city of Salem. Manufacturing products of the city include electronic equipment, textiles, footwear, paper products, computers, and foodstuffs. Lawrence was the residence of Robert Frost during his early school years, and his first essays and poems were published in the Lawrence High School Bulletin.
