About Iberia Medical Center:

Iberia Medical Center is a not-for-profit, award-winning hospital dedicated to enhancing its community's health and quality of life. Originally founded through the efforts of the local Lions Club, the hospital became a reality with the formation of Hospital Service District No. 1 in 1951. In partnership with the Iberia Parish Police Jury, the Iberia Parish Hospital officially opened its doors on September 13, 1960.

Today, Iberia Medical Center offers over 30 medical specialties, supported by a team of more than 140 physicians. With the addition of its North Campus, services at the Lewis Street location include the Women’s Diagnostic Center, a 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, an Advanced Wound Center, an outpatient Rehab Center, a Hepatology Clinic, and both inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Health Services.

In addition, Iberia Medical Center extends its care through the Jeanerette Rural Health Clinic, Cancer Center of Acadiana-New Iberia Clinic, Sleep Center, and the IMC Physician Network.
