Foundations Behavioral Health offers a wide array of behavioral health services to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. We offer acute inpatient and partial hospitalization for children and adolescents ages 8-18 years. Our residential treatment programs serve children and adolescents ages 8-18 years and our transitional residential program serves young adults ages 17 through 21 yrs. We also offer Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (BHRS) for children and adolescents which are provided in the home and community setting throughout multiple counties in the Southeastern Region of Pennsylvania. The Outpatient Clinic provides individual, family, and group therapies as well as medication management for children, adolescents and their families. The Lifeworks Alternative School offers alternative education for students in 6th through 12th grades who need a small structured compassionate environment in which to learn. Established in 1964, Foundations provides behavioral health treatment for emotional problems in a homelike environment on 12 acres in Bucks County, PA. The treatment center is easily accessible from many locations in the Philadelphia area. Foundations is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation’s oldest and largest accrediting body; is a member of The Delaware Valley Hospital Council (DVHC), Pennsylvania Association of Psychiatric Hospital Systems (PAPHS), and the National Association of Psychiatric Hospital Systems (NAPHS) and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
