In July 2006, the Research Triangle metropolitan region, stretching from Raleigh to Durham, reported an estimated population for the combined statistical area of Raleigh-Durham-Cary of 1,565,223. So with hot summers and moderate temperatures during the remaining seasons, many recreational activities are available with Morrisville as home base.
