The Practice

The Corona Community Health Center is part of the Riverside University Health System-Community Health Centers. Federally Qualified Heath Centers (FQHC) provide and/or support the delivery of comprehensive, culturally competent, quality primary health care services to the low-income and the underserved population. The system includes 12 Health Centers throughout Riverside County.

Opened in 1993, the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center is located in the southwest portion of Riverside County, adjacent to the cities of Temecula and Murrieta, in an area known as French Valley. The facility is under the command of a Sheriff's Captain and administered under the direction of the Corrections Division Chief Deputy.
