Bon Secours Virginia Health System 1

In July 2008, Bon Secours Richmond and Bon Secours Hampton Roads combined to form Bon Secours Virginia — making it one of the largest health systems in Virginia. Bon Secours is the only faith-based integrated health delivery network in the Commonwealth and will serve as a model for Catholic health systems nationally.

It operates four hospitals in the Richmond-area (St. Mary's Hospital, Memorial Regional Medical Center, Richmond Community Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center), three in Hampton Roads (Mary Immaculate Hospital, Maryview Medical Center and DePaul Medical Center), and has a network of ambulatory-care centers and physician offices providing a variety of healthcare services in Central and Eastern Virginia. Bon Secours Virginia employs over 11,000 people throughout the state (7,000 in Richmond and 4,000 in Hampton Roads).
