Bayhealth Sussex Campus today is a 163-bed medical center that has provided acute care and surgical services to the southern and central Delaware area since 1938. Bayhealth Sussex is a designated Baby-Friendly USA facility and is home to a level I neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), as well as private labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum suites

Milford

Milford is located in Kent and Sussex counties in Delaware. The fastest-growing city in the state, Milford is home to more than 10,000 residents in the city limits and 26,000 in the surrounding area. It is 20 miles south of the state capital, Dover, and 25 miles north of Rehoboth Beach.

The local economy is powered by manufacturing, healthcare, education, commerce and government.

The city is served by the Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport and an Amtrak passenger train in nearby Wilmington, connecting to New York and Washington, D.C.
