Baptist Health Madisonville

Madisonville is county seat of Hopkins County in Kentucky and is located about 125 miles southwest of Louisville along the Pennyrile Parkway in the Western Coal Fields region of the state. With a population of approximately 19,000, Madisonville is a commercial center of the region and home to Madisonville Community College. The city was founded in 1807 and named for Secretary of State James Madison. Madisonville and Hopkins County are home to Kentucky's largest variety of outdoor recreation activities, including scenic trails, tranquil lakes, rolling grasslands and dense forests.
