The hospital is one of the area’s preferred hospitals for heart surgery with its’ progressive and state-of-the-art technology. A Level II trauma center, the Presence Mercy Medical Center emergency department sees over 40,000 patients annually and the hospital is one of the first in Illinois to be an accredited chest pain center.
