Akaka VA Clinic
Daniel Kahikina Akaka VA Clinic & Cloudbreak Campus at Barbers Point
Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Daniel Kahikina Akaka VA Clinic is a cornerstone of Veteran care on Oahu, delivering comprehensive outpatient services as part of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System. Dedicated to the unique needs of Veterans across the Pacific, the Akaka Clinic provides a full spectrum of primary and specialty care including women’s health, mental health services, laboratory, imaging, cardiology, dermatology, and more—all offered in a state-of-the-art, Veteran-focused environment.
In addition to its main facility, the VA delivers care and supportive services through the Cloudbreak Campus at Barbers Point. Situated on the historic grounds of Kalaeloa (formerly Barbers Point Naval Air Station) on the leeward side of Oahu, Cloudbreak Campus is home to important VA residential and supportive programs. These include transitional and permanent housing for homeless and at-risk Veterans, case management, and coordinated access to healthcare and mental health resources. The campus fosters an integrated approach to addressing Veterans’ housing, health, and social needs, helping them achieve stability and build healthy futures.
With a coordinated network of care between the Akaka Clinic and Cloudbreak Campus, Veterans have greater access to medical services, supportive housing, rehabilitation, and outreach programs tailored specifically for the population served across Oahu and the Pacific Islands.
Join our team and be part of an innovative, mission-driven system dedicated to honoring and caring for those who have served, within Hawaii’s culturally rich and supportive community.
