ABOUT THE FACILITY

St. Joseph of the Pines (SJP) is a nationally accredited aging services network offering a full continuum of retirement housing, health care and community-based services for older adults as well as community outreach to those in need.

St. Joseph of the Pines (SJP) is committed to promoting emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being to those in the organization’s care. Programs and services include continuing care retirement, assisted living services, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory support. In addition, SJP’s extensive network of care offers Home Care, affordable housing, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and a rural mobile health clinic.

St. Joseph of the Pines is a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation.

The Health Center at St. Joseph of the Pines is a 176-bed licensed skilled nursing facility providing 24-hour nursing care to residents who live off our campuses, as well as individuals within the St. Joseph of the Pines continuum of care.

The Health Center is comprised of six Care Communities in one building, allowing the care provided to be focused on individual resident preferences. These communities are:

• Whispering Oaks
• Golden Oaks
• Willow Lake
• Pine Hollow
• Pine Meadow

Residents experience an exciting and unique approach to living while requiring nursing assistance. Our Care Communities are designed to be smaller, intimate areas that allow our trained professional staff to provide services based on the choices and preferences of each resident.
The quaint environment of The Health Center promotes socialization through residents building relationships with their neighbors. We also provide a variety of social events for our residents to choose to participate in.
The Health Center's dedicated staff becomes “extended family” for residents and their family members. A relationship built on trust and familiarity naturally develops, which enhances the resident experience in receiving excellent medical care.
