ABOUT THE FACILITY
Mount Saint Joseph Residence & Rehabilitation (MSJ) is a 138-bed long-term care facility that includes 111 skilled nursing beds and 27 assisted living beds, including 34 behavioral health beds. MSJ has been caring for the people of Waterville and its surroundings since 1966. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon, Mount Saint Joseph takes pride in providing person-centered care that emphasizes quality of life. A nonprofit organization, MSJ is funded with federal and state dollars and charitable donations made by families and the community.
With a mission to serve in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence in the community, Mount Saint Joseph strives to:

- enhance well-being through nutrition, fitness and activity; and

COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION
Waterville, Maine is located on the banks of the Kennebec River in Maine. Waterville is easily accessed by two exits off Interstate-95 as well as Route 201, a national, historic byway and part of the Kennebec-Chaudière Corridor. Waterville is located 20 minutes from the state capital of Augusta, and just an hour from the famous Maine coast, with popular destinations such as Portland, Camden, Rockport, and Bar Harbor offering an unmatched variety of cultural, epicurean, and recreational opportunities to explore.
