River Region Psychiatry Associates, L.L.C. d/b/a Alabama Psychiatry & Kentucky Psychiatriy, was incorporated in July 2008, to provide psychiatric services to Montgomery. Since our founding in 2008 we have grown to operate 6 outpatient clinics, across Alabama and Kentucky. We also provide coverage and manage the inpopulation of 11 different hospitals.  RRPA contracts with hospitals across the state of Alabama to provide quality in patient psychiatric treatment for people in need of this higher level of care. Our physicians and nurse practitioners collaborate with each hospital’s treatment team to provide quality care for each patient by diagnosing, stabilizing, and facilitating the best possible transition back into their community.

RRPA offers contracted psychiatric services to several nursing homes and their residents across the state of Alabama. This service provides a psychiatrist to round in the nursing home setting once a month, either in person or via telepsychiatry. This service allows nursing home residents to remain in their home setting and have access to needed mental health care.
